Items, Weapons & More!

Physical items come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from mundane odds and ends to the essential tools of gadgeteers, and even to the outright bizarre creations of your local mad scientist. This is the MCu, after all!
When selecting or creating items for your character, it&apose;s essential to understand the difference between equipment and resources. Equipment refers to items that a character can carry on their person, such as a knife or a cellphone. In contrast, a resource is something a character has access to, which could include personal resources like a group’s headquarters, communal resources like a public library, or a knowledgeable friend on a particular subject. Unlike resources, equipment can only be held by one character at a time. For example, while Doctor Strange, Thanos, and the Ancient One have all possessed the Time Stone, none of them could hold it simultaneously.
Below is a growing list of descriptions to help flesh out your character(s). If you are currently logged in, the descriptions will be personalized based on your user profile. If you have a character in progress, the descriptions will customize themselves to fit your character. A button will appear with your character's name; simply click it to automatically add the description to that character. You can then tailor the final description to match your character perfectly.
We acknowledge that our list of merits is far from exhaustive, and, to be honest, it&apose;s not quite "ultimate" yet, but we are actively working on it. Please check back frequently for updates!

Select from 18 possible items listed below

Defensive equipment is designed to protect the user from potential harm or danger, both physically and mentally. Examples include body armor, force fields, personal shields, or magical wards. These items are primarily used to block attacks, reduce damage, or safeguard the user from hazardous environments.
Camouflage: Also called cryptic coloration, camouflage is a defense or tactic that organisms use to disguise their appearance, usually to blend in with their surroundings. Organisms use camouflage to mask their location, identity, and movement. This allows prey to avoid predators, and for predators to sneak up on prey.
Psionic Shield: Originally developed by A.I.M., the devices come in many forms ranging from helmets like that worn by Magento, to watches to small hand-held discs, to large building, a psionic shield is a device which generates a protective shield that is proof against most forms of psionic ease-dropping and or mental attack.

Restraint equipment is used to limit or restrict the freedom of others. This includes items such as handcuffs, nets, energy shackles, or psionic inhibitors. These tools are often employed to capture or detain targets without causing significant harm.
Handcuffs: A pair of lockable linked rings made from metal or other high-strength materials for sole purpose of securing and limiting the mobility of the wearer; Fetish wear
Inhibitor Collar: Originally developed by Boliar Trask, the Inhibitor Collar is an electronic device that goes around the neck and generates a unique mildly disruptive bio-electrical feedback loop which interferes with a mutants nervous system, typically paralyzing all of their mutations which are not actual physical manifestations such as feathered wings or aquatic gills; They may cause some difficulty in using physical enhancements due to the headache which often accompanies the wearing of the inhibitor.

Tools are specialized items used to accomplish specific tasks, often in the realms of repair, crafting, or exploration. Examples include lockpicks, energy scanners, grappling hooks, or advanced medical kits. These items are designed to assist in solving problems or overcoming obstacles during missions.
Key Decoder (Lock pick): A stainless steel key decoder is a locksmith tool designed to measure the depth of each cut on a key by aligning the key's valleys with precise notches on the decoder, each representing a specific depth. By sliding the key along the tool and matching each cut with a notch, users can read the depth codes needed to duplicate or recreate the key accurately, enabling easy reproduction or analysis of the lock’s pin configuration.

Limitation:Must be inserted into the specific lock
Lock picks: Often similar in appearance to dental tools, the "pick" is simply inserted into the lock and turned clockwise with medium torque. As the tool is pushed into the lock, each of the pins is slowly forced down until they stop, thus binding the driver pins behind the shear line of the lock. When the final pick is pushed down, the shear plane is clear and the lock opens; They often come in a set of 12 to 18 different picks and tension bars.

Unique equipment refers to one-of-a-kind items, often tied to a specific character or storyline. These items could include personalized weapons, custom-built gadgets, or rare artifacts that no other character possesses. Unique items often have special abilities or powers that make them distinct.
Adhesive X: Adhesive X, a chemical created by then Nazi scientist Baron Heinrich Zemo, that could bond with anything and is practically indissolvable. Adhesive can only be removed by one of the Trapster's (Paste Pot Pete) chemical solvents. Only someone such as Thor or the Hulk can remove the adhesive (with great difficulty) from their body and not suffer serious physical harm.
Cauldron of Cosmos: The Cauldron of Cosmos is a relic currently housed in the New York Sanctum. The cauldron is used to ponder the mysteries of the universe for hours or to check for mystical threats.
Image Inducer: Developed by Tony Stark, the Image inducer is a sophisticated electronic device that produces a tight hologram field around whatever it is attached to with the expressed purpose of amouflaging or disguising the appearance of the user. Typically, the inducer looks like a watch, providing a cover for anyone who asks about it.

It covers the person's body and gives them any one of several pre-programmed appearances. It conforms to the person's movements. It can even be changed to give the user an entirely different appearance.

The inducer's main drawback is that it only generates a look, but cannot hide the feel of the person's skin. Nor can it hide anything not within the range of a normal human being. This becomes a possible liability for someone like the Beast or Nightcrawler. If anyone actually touches them, they can feel their fur, or if Nightcrawler were to let XXXhisXXX tail move, it appears outside the holographic image.
Mind Stone: Emerging from the primordial nothingness at first moments of existence, the Mind Stone is one of the Infinity stones which distill the primal nature of the very universe itself. The stone is very much like an infinity powerful computer which can bestow unlimited psychic abilities upon whomever possesses at any given moment.

First appearing as the power source of Loki's Scepter which utilized the yellow Mind Stone housed inside a blue computer module which masked the stone's presence. Stark originally saw the Stone as a power source, whereas once J.A.R.V.I.S. had the opportunity to study the stone XXXheXXX stated it was more akin to a very powerful computer. The stone within had already been in the possession of Thanos when XXXheXXX gave it to Loki to aid XXXhimXXX in XXXhisXXX invasion of Earth. It grants to the user powerful mental abilities, like the power to subjugate the minds of others, bending them to the will of the user, as well as project the user's consciousness to a higher plane of existence. The stone was also said to greatly increase the intelligence of those capable of wielding it, as shown in the cases of Loki and Wolfgang von Strucker. When Loki failed in XXXhisXXX campaign, the Scepter fell into the possession of S.H.I.E.L.D., eventually being passed on to HYDRA via sleeper agents. The Scepter was then used in various HYDRA experiments, notably inducing superhuman powers in young Sokovian twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, and other capabilities such as mind control, astral and energy projection were unearthed as well as telepathic and telekinetic powers. The protective casing of the Scepter's gem was eventually broken by Ultron and the contained stone was used to bring life to Vision. Thor later entrusted the stone to Vision, stating that Vision was worthy and that safety was hard to come by nowadays. Despite being a part of him, the stone's origin was a mystery for Vision and XXXheXXX wished to understand it so XXXheXXX could control it. The Mind Stone was the last stone Thanos would acquire, which XXXheXXX forcibly removed from Vision, killing him.
Mini-Cerebro (watch): Built in the form of a watch, a mini-cerebro can do anything that typical smartwatch can in addition to working as a short-range lifeform detection device which can be used to hone in on a specific mutant genome; It is available in Midnight Black, Space Grey, Gunner Steel, Aluminium, Deep Navy, Deep Red, Sage Grren, Off-White, and Pink Rose
Ruby Quartz Visor: The golden visored mask worn by Cyclops allows XXXhimXXX to both control and focus XXXhisXXX distructive concussive optic blasts, and prevents XXXhimXXX form any random discharges. The Visor is lined with a specially formulated ruby-quartz crystal powdered. It incorporates two longitudinally mounted flat lenses which can lever inward providing a constantly variable exit slot of 0 inches to .79 inches in height and a constant width of 5.7 inches.

Utility equipment serves multiple functions and is designed for adaptability in various situations. Items like a multi-tool, jetpack, or energy converter fall under this category, offering flexibility for problem-solving or enhancing a character’s capabilities in diverse scenarios.
Arc Reactor: Originally developed by Howard Stark, the Arc Reactor was a fusion type power source featuring a palladium core, and was the initial power source of the first Iron Man suits, and was later modified to an advanced level by Tony Stark to power XXXhisXXX more advanced suits, as it kept on improving.
Utility Belt: Consisting primarily of a strap and buckle with multiple small compartments, a utility belt typically houses ten to fourteen pouches or cylindrical cartridges that are attached to the outside of the belt. Buckles may have additional uses such as acting as grapples to tether a line to or house a miniature camera or audio recorder. A secondary compartment behind the length of the belt may be used to house small ninja stars, line of rope, a properly folded Rand-McNally map, or other such things.

Weapons are offensive items designed to cause damage or incapacitate opponents. This category includes firearms, melee weapons like swords or axes, energy-based weapons like plasma rifles, or magical weapons enchanted for combat. Weapons can vary greatly in power, range, and effect, from simple handguns to devastating blasters.
Disrupter: A disrupter is a device when when fired releases two beam that when they meet together, create a field in which electrons can not be shared. The field spread spread out in a sphere, neutralizing any electrical or bio-eletrical activity much like a controlled E.M.P.
Repulsor: A repulsor is a form in which a high density muon beam can be projected, as a powerful blast of concussive energy called repulsor blasts. Repulsor blasts may be directed by magnets and focused by electrostatic lenses, although they may also be self-focusing.
Repulsors: Mounted in the palms of Iron Man's armored hands and drawing power directly from Tony's chest Arc Reactor, they can be used to stablize the Iron Man armor&apo;s flight capabilities and provide extra lift or navigational agility. Additionally, by focusing repulsor's energy tightly, they can create powerful energy blasts to use against opponents with lethal effect. The repulsor effect is created by taking excess electrons and turning them into muons which can penetrate deep into atomic matter before being fed to the hands and chest piece of any Iron Man suit. The suit then takes in air through the suit and runs it to any of the emiters. An electric current running through the suit's gauntlets creates a small amount of plasma which ignite the energy for projection.
taser: Taser stands for "Tom A. Swift Electric Rifle", it is a handheld device that incapacitates a person by transmitting a 50,000-volt electric a distance of twenty feet. A Taser can also be used as a stun gun by pressing it directly against the target's body, thereby administering the electric shock. directly
